Hello DBN readers,

Welcome to our new website!

We are super excited for the future of this website as we have switched from our previous Go Daddy domain to Word Press, which allows for a ton of new features. While this is still a work in progress, we have the vision for what we want it all to look like.

Here are some new things to expect, with the possibility for more as well:

• More interactive standings broken down by conference

• The ability for all of our writers, of which we have plenty now with our new intern class, to all have their own profiles. This way, all of their work can be found in one place so they can share with potential future employers.

• At the top of the page, there will be a scoreboard showing all of the scores from that given day and the schedule for future games. There will also be a tab for the schedule once all teams release theirs.

• We now have the ability to have sponsors advertise on our site, which will help both support our writers and also help support local businesses.

• The podcast and other social media will be able to be accessed through the site

I would also like to mention that our old website has not been deleted, we just transferred that old domain over to here.

We have written a lot of awesome articles and covered a ton of great events like high school playoffs, the LIttle League World Series, and plenty more, so it would be a shame if all of that was lot.

We felt like with our always growing audience, it was time to make our website a bit more advanced. Go Daddy “got the job done”, but that’s like saying you are happy going into a season with Kirk Cousins as your QB.

Sure, it works, but is it really going to get you where you want to go?

There will always be people who have no interest in downloading social media accounts, and there will always be an audience of people looking to read articles while they pretend to be working in their cubicle, so more investment in the website is a win for everyone.

We look forward to continuing to build this website to make it the only place to be to find information and entertainment about Delco Baseball.
