PROSPECT PARK, PA — The best offense is a consistent offense.

That was the case for Interboro as they scored in all six of their at bats in a 13-3 win over Chester. The highlight of that was a five-run second inning to take a 6-1 lead.

The Bucs struck first on an Evan Thomas RBI groundout in the bottom of the first, but Chester responded back by scoring on an error in the top of the second.

A couple of walks and errors scored some runs and put runners on for Nick Rivera, who doubled, and all of a sudden it was a 6-1 Interboro lead. Interboro, similar to Chester, got a bunch of different pitchers work in this game with each going 1-2 innings with Tyler Green, Shane West, Mike McLaughlin, Jaxson Munro and Kaiden Whalen all getting their opportunities.

Green and Scott Poluchuck both had two hits and drove in runs for the Bucs with Green driving in three.

Jorge Nunez had two hits for Chester in the loss.

Interboro will be off until they have a huge conference matchup with Chichester next Tuesday, and Chester will head to Academy Park next Tuesday as well.
